We are thrilled to have been part of the project in getting Home Bargains back on-line.
We have developed the e-commerce solution using open source technologies and our skilled team who have been developing on-line shops for 10 years.
The site has been live since July 2011 and is going from strength to strength.

More recently we also incorporated collect from store and that has been a great success. We work in partnership with 3X and look forward to further developments of the site.”
We were provided with PDF designs from the company’s design company and from this we went on to develop the fully functional online trading site based on an open source technology.
It was important that the site was developed with the end customer in mind so that products could be quickly found. As the business handles a large number of fast moving products it was vital that the online team were able to efficiently add and maintain products and product categories on a daily basis. The handling of the online stock control system and effective stock management was also critical to the site.
Brand is very important to Home Bargains so being able to search and link products in this way vital for a better user experience. Related products, Customers also bought, recently viewed, cross sell products also improve the opportunity to upsell to the customer.
The automated feeds of product data to Google have helped the site in this highly competitive discount market place.
We fully developed the integration to the third party delivery company with seamless interfaces to ensure prompt despatch of parcels and that the customers have full knowledge of where their parcels are at any point in time.
Customer management is vital to an online business so we worked with the Internet team to design and develop a customer contact relationship management (CRM) system that met with their day to day requirements and now forms part of site to allow for effective high customer service levels.
The newest feature has been the collect from store service this has been very successful. We have other features in the pipeline to improve the customer overall shopping experience.
